This yarn was inspired by Jackson Pollock's painting, "Convergence." I love the dramatic rich colors in this yarn--and in the painting that inspired the yarn. They include gold, eggplant, red, orange, copper, and lilac.
I dyed it on Splendid Sock, which is fantastic for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's made of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon.
Jackson Pollock on Splendid Sock
463 yards / 3.5 oz / 4 plies
75% superwash merino / 25% nylon
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry.
Jackson Pollock would look great with Aubergine and Ochre or with Cherries Jubilee.
I included a couple photos of a hat I knit on Jackson Pollock using Wonderful Worsted to give you an idea of how it will work up.
