This is such a fun colorway but one with some meaning too. I dyed half of It's Complicated a a dark gray and left the other half white but added a multitude of different colored speckles.
The idea for this colorway came after taking the time to scroll through my Facebook feed and seeing so many different perspectives about the current situation in the world. There are a few things that are truly "black and white" in this world, but very few indeed. I have found over the years that most things are a little more complicated, and the world would be a better place if we would take the time to listen to different people's perspectives. That's what this colorway is all about.
I dyed this yarn on Wonderful Worsted, which is a squishy and round 4-ply yarn made of 100% superwash merino. It's great for sweaters, shawls, hats, and more.
It's Complicated on Wonderful Worsted
218 yards / 3.5 ounces / 4 plies
100% superwash merino wool
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry
It's Complicated goes beautifully with Party Like It's 2021 and Complications.
I included a photo of a swatch I knit up in this colorway using Sparkly Merino Sock. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
