This is such a fun colorway but one with some meaning too. The idea for this colorway came after taking the time to scroll through my Facebook feed and seeing so many different perspectives about the current situation in the world. There are a few things that are truly "black and white" in this world, but very few indeed. I have found over the years that most things are a little more complicated, and the world would be a better place if we would take the time to listen to different people's perspectives. That's what this colorway is all about.
Originally, I dyed half of the colorway gray and half speckled, but I recently updated it to be an assigned pooling colorway, so now one-quarter of the skein is gray, and the other three-quarters are speckled in the same speckles as Party Like It's 2023.
This would work beautifully with any of Dawn Barker's assigned pooling colorways or my own assigned pooling pattern, The Long Way Round.I dyed it on Super Sport, which is a wonderfully squishy 80/20 superwash merino/nylon yarn perfect for hats, shawls, sweaters, and heavier weight socks for winter. It is a nice round 3-ply with great stitch definition.
