This is such a fun scarf but one with some meaning behind the colorway. The idea for this colorway came after taking the time to scroll through my Facebook feed and seeing so many different perspectives about the current situation in the world. There are a few things that are truly "black and white" in this world, but very few indeed. I have found over the years that most things are a little more complicated, and the world would be a better place if we would take the time to listen to different people's perspectives. That's what I had in mind with It's Complicated.
These scarves are the perfect way to complete an outfit all year long. They are made of habotai silk, and I have hand-dyed each one. Each one is unique--even more so than hand-dyed yarn.
These scarves measure 8 inches wide and 72 inches in length and can be wrapped two or three times or knotted and worn in so many different ways. There are lots of great videos on youtube on different ways to style these.
They are also great to travel with too since they fold up to almost nothing and weight less than an ounce, and they make wonderful, unique gifts. They are so soft!
I recommend hand washing in cold water and hanging to dry. If you like it smooth and crisp, you can use an iron or a steamer to smooth out any wrinkles.
