I dyed this soft organic Polwarth in shades of mauve, blue, and a little pop of chartreuse.
Polwarth is the fiber I recommend to new spinners because it's almost as soft as merino, but it has a longer staple length, which makes it easier to spin.
If you are wondering where the funky name came from, we just watched Tangled for the thousandth time, and my kids and I decided that these are the colors Rapunzel would choose if she could dye her long braid of hair. ;-)
Name: If Rapunzel Dyed Her Hair
Weight: 4 ounces
Contents: 100% organic Polwarth top

MY GIFT TO YOU
Also, as a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
Please take a moment to sign up for my weekly newsletter if you haven't already. You'll receive a one-time 15% discount when you do as well as news about Purple Lamb, a monthly designer of the month interview, and news about each sale.
Happy fiber artistry!
