Honey Bee was inspired by those very important small creatures on whom we depend for food.
I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is perfect for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's made of extra-soft superwash merino and nylon.
I dyed half the skein a cheerful yellow with just a touch of orange, and I dyed the other half a soft black with a bit of variation. There's a little bit of white as well. I think this would make a fantastic little boy's hat or fun shawl or socks.
Honey Bee on Sock Perfection
450 yards / 3.5 oz / 4 plies
80% extra-soft superwash merino / 20% nylon
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry.
Honey Bee would look great with Little Black Dress for a greater emphasis on the black.
The last photo shows a swatch I knit up in this colorway using Wonderful Worsted. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
