This spring I wanted to make something fresh and fun, so I created the Gelato collection. It has seven different soft pastels inspired by yummy gelato flavors plus one light silver neutral. This collection will be available for a limited time.
This colorway is a light silver, but since there is no silver-colored gelato flavor, we came up with the idea of calling it Scoop like the stainless steel scoops they use to serve the gelato.
I used Feather Sock as the yarn base. Feather Sock is made of 85% extra-fine non-superwash merino wool and 15% silk. It's a 2-ply yarn with a lot of yardage. It's great for sweaters, shawls, hats, and more. Just be aware that it should be hand-washed in cold water so it doesn't felt. On the other hand, it's great for weavers and others who want to full their cloth.
Gelato Scoop on Feather Sock
490 yards / 3.5 oz / 2 plies
85% extra-soft non-superwash merino / 15% silk
Care: Hand wash cold and air dry.
Gelato Scoop would go beautifully with all the other colorways in the Gelato Collection, which you can see altogether in the photos. :-)
