After dyeing up Sunflower in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, I had several requests for a blue to go with it to match the Ukrainian flag, so I created Freedom Blue. It's a rich, royal blue that has a little bit of tonal variation.
I used Feather Sock as the yarn base. Feather Sock is made of 85% extra-fine non-superwash merino wool and 15% silk. It's a 2-ply yarn with a lot of yardage. It's great for sweaters, shawls, hats, and more. Just be aware that it should be hand-washed in cold water so it doesn't felt. On the other hand, it's great for weavers and others who want to full their cloth.
