This is the fifth year I'm offering Eight Days of Easter kits, and I am so excited about what's going in this year's kits! The theme this year is butterflies, and it's going to be completely different from the kits from previous years.

Shawl Pattern
I'll be including a knit shawl pattern of my own design this year. I designed it specifically to go with the colorways and make best use of the different types of colorways. The pattern is appropriate for an advanced beginner, but it is also interesting enough for a more advanced knitter.

This year I'm making my own mini skeins from my Stained Glass Sock yarn base, which is a very soft 2-ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. Before I dye it, one of the plies is white, and the other ply goes back and forth between black and white, which is perfect for butterflies.

You'll get eight 25 gram minis with the kit. Each one is 100 yards, so it will be 800 yards altogether.

The colorways are meant to be a surprise, so I don't want to give away too much, but this year they are inspired by different species of butterflies, and altogether the shawl will create a rather complex gradient . The colorways are a combination of Splashed and Speckled colorways, Semi-Solid colorways, and Assigned Pooling colorways. This is going to be so much fun!

Each mini skein will come inside an Easter egg, and all eight Easter eggs will be placed in a reusable basket complete with Easter grass and a printed copy of the pattern. You'll also receive a small gift that's perfect for both knitters and crocheters.

The idea is to open the numbered eggs in order and knit or crochet that part of the pattern each day during the Easter season. Of course if it takes a little longer, that's okay too. It's meant to be enjoyed for as long as it takes.

I'm offering this as a pre-order, and I'll be dyeing all the kits and shipping them out by March 26th in order to have plenty of time for you to receive them before Easter, which is on April 9th this year. The pre-order will be available until either the first week of March or when all the kits sell out--whichever comes first.

These kits make wonderful Easter presents for your favorite fiber artist. If you're getting this as a gift for someone else, please feel free to include a note for the recipient, and I will include it with the package.

You'll need US size 5 circular needles that are at least 36 inches long as well as 1 removable stitch markers and 2 other stitch markers.

International and Wholesale Customers
Given the continuing difficulties with international mail and the timeline, I am afraid I can only offer these inside The United States this year. Also, since I have a limited supply of yarn for these kits, these will not be available for my wholesale customers this year. I apologize for any inconvenience.
