This year, I am including Lisa Hannes' Take It All shawl pattern. It's a great pattern for an intermediate-level knitter with lots of variety and fun stitches. I've included Lisa's photo of her original shawl, but I will not be using the same colorways. You can find out more about her pattern here on Ravelry.
I'm taking it up a notch in terms of both luxury and the size of the kit this year. I'll be including 8 mini skeins made of a lovely luxury yarn with 80% superwash merino and 20% silk. Each mini has 80 yards. I'll also be including a full-sized skein of Cashmere Sock so the yarn and the shawl pattern work perfectly together.
Each mini skein will come inside an Easter egg, and all eight Easter eggs will be placed in a reusable basket complete with Easter grass and a printed copy of the Take It All shawl pattern.
Similar to an Advent yarn calendar, the colorways will be a surprise. I'll tell you this much though--they will be beautiful together and great for spring. They will not, however, be the same soft pastels of two years ago or last year's gradient set of minis.
The idea is to open the numbered eggs in order and knit or crochet that part of the pattern each day during the Easter season. Of course if it takes a little longer, that's okay too. It's meant to be enjoyed for as long as it takes.
I'm offering this as a pre-order, and I'll be dyeing all the kits and shipping them out by April 5th in order to have plenty of time for you to receive them before Easter, which is on April 17th this year. The preorder will be available until either the middle of March or when all the kits I can make sell out.
These kits make wonderful Easter presents for your favorite fiber artist. If you're getting this as a gift for someone else, please let me know and I won't include pricing information.
You'll need US size 4 circular needles that are at least 36 inches long.
International and Wholesale Customers
Given the continuing difficulties with international mail and the timeline, I am afraid I can only offer these inside The United States this year. Also, since I have a limited supply of yarn for these kits, these will not be available for my wholesale customers this year. I apologize for any inconvenience.
