These Eight Days of Easter Yarn Kits may even be better than chocolate Easter bunnies!
Each set will include eight soft and speckled pastel colorways on 10 gram sock-weight mini skeins.
Each mini will come inside an Easter egg, and all eight Easter eggs will be placed in a reusable basket complete with Easter grass and a little extra surprise as well. ;-)
You can choose between my Shimmer Sock base with sparkles and my Cozy Sock base without sparkles. Shimmer Sock is made of 75% superwash merino, 20% nylon, and 5% sparkly stellina. Cozy Sock is made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon.
Each 10-gram mini is 40 yards, so you'll receive 320 yards of sock-weight yarn.
I'll be using the same soft pastel colorways that you can see in the photos with one exception--I'll be speckling the white mini skein in soft pastels to go with the other 7 colorways.
The kit also comes with a heavy paper copy of my Diamond Twist Cowl pattern--a simple but elegant knitting pattern perfect for spring and summer since it's an open-work lace pattern. It's suitable for an advanced beginning knitter or beyond.
How It Works
I'm offering this as a pre-order, which means I'll be dyeing all the sets after you order and shipping them out at the beginning of April in order for them to arrive by Easter, which is on April 12, 2020.
Of course you can open all the "yarn eggs" at once if you like, but I'll have them numbered in order of the pattern so you can open one and knit that part of the pattern each day during the octave of Easter and have a lovely cowl to enjoy at the end.
If you're getting this as a gift for someone else, please let me know and I won't include pricing information. As always, I'm happy to include a lavender felt ball or rosemary sprig with each set. Just let me know if you would like one.
You'll need US size 6 circular needles that are 24 inches long for the Diamond Twist Cowl pattern.
If you would like to order an Eight Days of Easter kit and you live outside The United States, please order by February 29th so that I can do my best to have yours made, dried, and shipped in time to arrive by Easter. I can't guarantee that because of the uncertainties of international mail and customs, but I'll do everything I can on my end.
