Eggplant is a lovely deep purple yarn. It's one of my core semi-solids and matches beautifully with lots of variegated colorways.
I dyed it on Super Sport, which is a wonderfully squishy 80/20 superwash merino/nylon yarn perfect for hats, shawls, sweaters, and heavier weight socks for winter. It is a nice round 3-ply with great stitch definition.
