CRAB NEBULA Hand-Dyed Yarn on Squiggle Sock

Regular price $27.00

Quantity Available: 0

Crab Nebula was created by Joseph. He used a beautiful photograph of the nebula from the Hubble Space Telescope to create first art batts and now yarn.

The colors are so beautiful together--just the right blend of soft and bright. They include a little soft yellow, fuchsia, lavender, eggplant, several shades of blue, and bright chartreuse to add a little pop.

We dyed it on Squiggle Sock, which is such a fun yarn base made with superwash merino spun in a spiral around a nylon core and with little beehives or slubs every couple feet.

YARN PAIRINGS
Crab Nebula would look great with Eggplant, Lilac, and any of my blues.

YARN SWATCH
I included two photos of a hat I knit using Crab Nebula on Wonderful Worsted to give you an idea of how this can knit up. Keep in mind that that is a smooth base and doesn't have the squiggles of this one. :-)
