Crab Nebula was created by Joseph. He used a beautiful photograph of the nebula from the Hubble Space Telescope to create first art batts and now yarn.
The colors are so beautiful together--just the right blend of soft and bright. They include a little soft yellow, fuchsia, lavender, eggplant, several shades of blue, and bright chartreuse to add a little pop.
I dyed it on my So Silky Sock Base made of 50% superwash merino and 50% silk. This is so lusciously soft!
Crab Nebula on So Silky Sock
437 yards / 3.5 oz / 4 plies
50% superwash merino / 50% mulberry silk
Care: Hand wash in cold water and air dry
Crab Nebula would look great with Eggplant, Lilac, and Renaissance Blue.
I included a couple photos of a hat I knit using Crab Nebula on Wonderful Worsted to give you an idea of how it will work up.
