This is a lovely 2-ply lace-weight yarn made of 75% merino wool, 20% mulberry silk, and 5% stellina to add a bit of sparkle.
I'm making a few undyed/white skeins available. Whether you want white yarn in your project or would like to dye it yourself, this yarn should work well. If you do intend to dye it, just be aware that you should only allow the temperature to get up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit so it doesn't damage the silk.
In terms of color, I would call this a light ecru or an antique white.
This is the yarn base I use in my Jane Austen Lace collection, and the second to last photo shows that yarn dyed so you can see how it will look. You can see the whole collection here.
The last photo shows my own work in progress. It's a lacey cowl that I am making using a little of each of the Jane Austen lace yarns as well as this white yarn in between each colorway.YARN FACTS
