Copper Roof was inspired by an antique copper roof in the process of turning from the original color to that wonderful blue-green patina.
I dyed it on Sparkly Merino Sock base this time, which is made of 92% superwash merino and 8% sparkly lurex. It's a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.
The last photo shows a small swatch I made to give you an idea of how it can work up.
Copper Roof on Sparkly Merino Sock
Landscape Yarn Collection
409 yards / 4 oz / 4 plies
92% superwash merino / 8% lurex
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry
Copper Roof would look great with Turquoise, Sedona, or Copper.
The last photos shows a hat I knit up in this colorway using Wonderful Worsted. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
