Complications is a dark gray with abundant speckles in a rainbow of colors. I dyed on my Alpaca Lace Cloud yarn base this time.
This yarn base has all the delightful texture of a mohair yarn with none of the itch. It's made of baby suri alpaca and silk, and it has a wonderful halo similar to angora.
It can be used on its own or, as I have shown in the last photo, it can be used along with another yarn to add texture.
It is a lace-weight yarn, but because of the texture, I recommend using slightly larger knitting needles or crochet hooks than you typically would for lace.
The yarn comes in 50 gram skeins with 328 yards per skein.

The second to last photo shows Complications on both Alpaca Lace Cloud and Sock Perfection, and the last photo shows my daughter wearing the Knit and Chat infinity scarf pattern I made for just such a combination.
