Call Me Ishmael was inspired by the narrator of Moby-Dick. Though the name was inspired by the beginning of that great American novel, the scene that inspired the fiber painting is from the very end.
I used wool, camel down, and silk to make this, and the colors include shades of blue, green, brown, and white.
The frame is a dark bronze color with a nice glass covering. I entitled and signed it on the back. It's ready to go on your wall.
The dimensions are 14 inches wide by 12 inches tall, and it weighs 1 pound and 4 ounces.
