I dyed this gradient colorway on superwash BFL and named it Butterfly Garden because of the beautiful fuchsia, orange, and blue that are reminiscent of all the little butterflies in a garden.
BFL is one of the fibers I recommend to new spinners because it's still next-to-skin soft, but it has a longer staple length, which makes it easier to spin. This particular batch of BFL is really wonderfully soft. Because it is superwash, it won't felt, but it's a bit more slippery than non-superwash wool.
This would make a beautiful fractal yarn.
If you would like a spindle to go with your hand-dyed top, you can find them in the Tools and Equipment section of my shop.

MY GIFT TO YOU
Also, as a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
Please take a moment to sign up for my weekly newsletter if you haven't already. You'll receive a one-time 15% discount when you do as well as news about Purple Lamb, a monthly designer of the month interview, and news about each sale.
Happy fiber artistry!
