COLORWAY
Bejeweled contains teal, bright blue, and lilac, and together they looked like emeralds, sapphires, and amethysts, so I named the colorway Bejeweled.
This is one of a few block variegated colorways I made with planned pooling or intentional pooling in mind, though it could certainly be used for other projects as well.
YARN BASE
This yarn base has all the delightful texture of a mohair yarn with none of the itch. It's made of baby suri alpaca and silk, and it has a wonderful halo similar to angora. It can be used on its own or, as I have shown in the last photo, it can be used along with another yarn to add texture. It is a lace-weight yarn, but because of the texture, I recommend using slightly larger knitting needles or crochet hooks than you typically would for lace. The yarn comes in 50 gram skeins with 437 yards per skein.
