The majority mentioned galaxies and nebulae, so I started going through Hubble Space Telescope photos, and they are amazing, but no particular space phenomena looked exactly right. Then I found the image included here, and that in combination with the Hubble photos inspired me to think just how astonishingly beautiful our universe is. Isn't it breathtaking? It could be dull, flat, and colorless, but instead it is a masterpiece!\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein has the same colors but with different placement. This colorway varies from batch to batch more than most, so I recommend buying as much as you think you'll need for your project.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eYARN BASE\u003cbr\u003eI used Feather Fingering as the yarn base. Feather Fingering is made of 85% extra-fine non-superwash merino wool and 15% silk. It's a 2-ply yarn with a lot of yardage. It's great for sweaters, shawls, hats, and more. Just be aware that it should be hand-washed in cold water so it doesn't felt.
