BALL AT NETHERFIELD on Stained Glass Sock

Regular price $27.00

Ball at Netherfield was inspired by the ball hosted by Mr. Bingham in Pride and Prejudice. The richness of the colors, the warmth of the company (except his sisters), the elegance of the ball together were the inspiration for this colorway.

It's a variegated colorway dyed in blocks of color. I dyed this colorway on Stained Glass Sock, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 100% superwash merino. The thing that makes Stained Glass Sock uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass. Each 100 gram skein has 437 yards.
