BALL AT NETHERFIELD on Sparkly Merino Sock

Regular price $27.00

Ball at Netherfield was inspired by the ball hosted by Mr. Bingham in Pride and Prejudice. The richness of the colors, the warmth of the company (except his sisters), the elegance of the ball together were the inspiration for this colorway.

I dyed it as a variegated yarn using burgundy rose, annunciation blue, renaissance blue, lilac, and eggplant.

I used my Sparkly Merino Sock base this time, which is made of 92% superwash merino and 8% sparkly lurex. It's a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.

The last photo shows a sample I knit using this yarn.

MY GIFT TO YOU
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order.  Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
