BALL AT NETHERFIELD Hand-Dyed Top - Baby Camel/Tussah Silk

Regular price $24.00

Ball at Netherfield was inspired by the ball hosted by Mr. Bingham in Pride and Prejudice. The richness of the colors, the warmth of the company (except his sisters), the elegance of the ball together were the inspiration for this colorway.

I dyed it on an incredibly luxurious top I got that is made of 50% baby camel and 50% tussah silk. This is a great blend for a more experienced spinner. You will want to be comfortable spinning merino, and then this would make a good next step.

If you would like a spindle to go with your hand-dyed top, you can find one in the Tools and Equipment section of my shop.

Also, as a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.

Please take a moment to sign up for my weekly newsletter if you haven't already. You'll receive a one-time 15% discount when you do as well as news about Purple Lamb, a monthly designer of the month interview, and news about each sale.

Happy fiber artistry!
