We spent two years living on a lake in Michigan right next to a beautiful forest. In autumn, the colors of the leaves were stunning--orange, golden yellow, red, and even purple. This yarn was inspired by that forest.
I used my Sparkly Merino Sock base, which is made of 92% superwash merino and 8% sparkly lurex. It's a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.
Autumn Leaves on Sparkly Merino Sock
409 yards / 4 oz / 4 plies
92% superwash merino / 8% lurex

Autumn Leaves would look beautiful with Eggplant and The Winedark Sea.
I included a couple photos of a hat I knit using this colorway to give you an idea of how it can work up.
