The painting that inspired this yarn colorway is by Leonid Afremov, a late 20th century artist who used a palette knife and these amazing brilliant colors that are sort of reminiscent of pointillism. I actually created this colorway for my November 2020 club and decided to add it to the shop this year.I dyed it on my So Silky Sock Base made of 50% superwash merino and 50% silk. This is so lusciously soft!
Afremov's Farewell to Anger on So Silky Sock
437 Yards / 3.5 oz / 4 Plies
50% Superwash Merino / 50% Mulberry Silk
Care: Hand wash cold and air dry.
Farewell to Anger would look great with Marigold, Monarch Orange, Lilac, and The Winedark Sea.
I included two photos of a hat I knit using Farewell to Anger on Wonderful Worsted to give you an idea of how it can work up.
