The painting that inspired this yarn colorway is by Leonid Afremov, a late 20th century artist who used a palette knife and these amazing brilliant colors that are sort of reminiscent of pointillism.
Afremov's Farewell to Anger on Squiggle Sock
Splashed & Speckled Colorway
437 yards / 3.5 oz / 2 Plies
90% Superwash Merino / 10% Nylon
Care: Hand wash cold and air dry.
Farewell to Anger would look great with Monarch Butterfly, Lilac, Freedom Blue, Sunflower, Burgundy Rose, and many more.
I included two photos of a hat I knit using this colorway on Wonderful Worsted to give you an idea of how it will work up. However, Wonderful Worsted doesn't have the same texture as Squiggle Sock.
