This yarn was inspired by Sara Crewe, the main character in the wonderful children's classic, A Little Princess. In spite of her own deep sorrow and hardship, she manages to bring joy to those around her. This colorway is dedicated to all who have managed to do the same in spite of--or perhaps in light of--their own sorrow.
The yarn contains several shades of moody blues and mournful violets as well as some more cheerful burgundy rose.
I dyed it on Super Sport, which is a wonderfully squishy 80/20 superwash/nylon yarn perfect for hats, shawls, sweaters, and heavier weight socks for winter. It has great stitch definition.

Care: Machine or hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
The last photo shows Epiphany, A Little Princess, and Kristen Lavransdatter together. These would make a great fade pattern such as Andrea Mowry's Shift pattern.
MY GIFT TO YOU
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
