Dark and moody with pops of color is a good description for this colorway. This was one of the times when I created the colorway and then had to come up with a name. While pondering different ideas for the name, Flannery O'Connor's short story entitled "A Good Man is Hard to Find" popped into my head.
Like the colorway, it is very dark but with underlying humor like all of her short stories. Here's a link to it if you would like to read it.
The colorway itself has browns and grays along with muted purples, blues, and greens. There are also some pops of magenta.
I used my Sparkly Merino Sock base, which is made of 92% superwash merino and 8% sparkly lurex. It's a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.
A Good Man Is Hard to Find on Sparkly Merino Sock
409 yards / 4 oz / 4 plies
92% superwash merino / 8% lurex
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry
This colorway would look great with Eggplant, Lilac, Chocolate, and Magenta.
