VISIT TO LYME Hand-Dyed on Squoosh Worsted

Regular price $28.00

Quantity Available: 3

Visit to Lyme was inspired by and named after a beautiful and important portion of Jane Austen's Persuasion. Anne Elliot, Captain Wentworth, and several others go for a visit to the seaside at Lyme. It is a turning point in the novel. In addition to the book (of course), the 1995 BBC adaptation is fantastic, including the portion that provided the inspiration for this colorway.

This Splashed and Speckled colorway includes several shades of blues and greens as well as a little bit of white.

I dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method on Squoosh Worsted, which is a squishy and round 4-ply yarn made of extra-soft superwash merino. It comes in large 4 ounce skeins as well. It's great for sweaters, shawls, hats, and more.
