Cosette was inspired by one of my favorite novels and musicals too--Les Miserables.
After the death of her mother, Jean Valjean finds and adopts Cosette, and the two of them make life not only bearable but joyful for one another. Cosette is pure goodness and sweetness.
I dyed her colorway with purple for self-sacrificing love, pink for gentleness, blue for loyalty to both Jean Valjean and later her betrothed, and white for purity.I dyed this yarn on Squoosh DK, which is made of extra-soft superwash merino.

Cosette would go beautifully with Jean Valjean and Javert. It would also look lovely with Rosy-Fingered Dawn, Renaissance Blue, or Lilac.
