I named this colorway Party Like It's 2021 in the middle of 2020 and decided to keep moving the name forward. This is the speckliest yarn I've ever made. I used magenta, orange, yellow, chartreuse, blue, berry, and purple speckles.
I dyed this colorway on Stained Glass Sock, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. The thing that makes Stained Glass Sock uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass. Each 100 gram skein has 400 yards.
