Hope was a club colorway I created based on the painting by George Watts back at the very beginning of COVID. As we find ourselves yet again--or perhaps still--in so much need of hope, I decided to make this a regular colorway. I have included the painting as one of the photos below.
I dyed this on my sparkly merino sock base, which is made of superwash merino with 8% sparkly lurex. If you enlarge the pictures, the sparkle shows really well just as it does in real life.
Hope by George Watts on Sparkly Merino Sock
409 yards / 4 oz /4 plies
92% superwash merino wool, 8% lurex
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry.
Hope would go beautifully with Contentment, Turquoise, Copper Roof, and The Hands of the King.
