The painting that inspired this yarn colorway is by Leonid Afremov, a late 20th century artist who used a palette knife and these amazing brilliant colors that are sort of reminiscent of pointillism.
I dyed this large silk shawl in my Farewell to Anger colorway. It's quite the statement piece and would look wonderful with an evening gown. It's made of habotai silk and measures 35 x 84 inches.
