ENCHANTED FOREST on Stained Glass Sock

Enchanted Forest is a journey into the forests of fairy tales and other great works of literature--a place of dangerous creatures and mischievous fairies and the risk of getting lost in something larger than yourself.

The colors are dark green, light green, brown, dark blue, and dark purple along with a multitude of black and green-blue speckles. I dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein contains the same colors but in different places, making each one unique.

I dyed this colorway on Stained Glass Sock, which is a smooth, soft 2-ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. The thing that makes Stained Glass Sock uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass. Each 100 gram skein has 400 yards.
