Many months ago I had plans to dye up one of my regular spring colorways, but I could not stop thinking about the people of Ukraine and the horror that they were experiencing then and are still experiencing right now.
I decided to stop everything and dye up a new colorway inspired by the beautiful flower that is their national symbol, the sunflower.
Sunflower on Squoosh DK
Tonal Colorway with Speckles
250 yards / 4 ounces / 4 plies
100% Extra-Fine Superwash Merino

Sunflower would look wonderful with Monarch Butterfly, Anne Elliot, and Farewell to Anger. If you would like to make a Ukrainian flag project, take a look at the new Freedom Blue colorway I created for that purpose.
