Squishy, soft, puffy, and delightfully delicate are the words that come to mind for these art batts made of so many luxury fibers. I included merino, organic polwarth, mulberry silk, and best of all, angora in these art batts. The thing that is so wonderful about angora is the halo it makes over time.
The colors are quite simple--lots of white and a little bit of lavender.
These batts are made by layering thin stripes, so the colors maintain their richness but are well blended too.
The last photo shows some 2-ply super bulky yarn I spun from 2 of these batts.
Each art batt is shipped to you in a lovely organza drawstring bag to prevent it from getting dusty until you are ready to use it. It also has a label to let you know what it's made of for future reference. This makes a great presentation if you are giving art batts as a gift to your favorite spinner or felter as well.
MY GIFT TO YOU
Also, as a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
Happy fiber artistry!
