ROSY-FINGERED DAWN Indie-Dyed Yarn on Feather Sock

This listing is for the softest most luscious pink available. It isn't a bright pinky pink. Instead, it was inspired by that beautiful color one sees early in the morning just before sunrise. It's a soft sophisticated barely-there pink. I named it after Homer's epithet from the Odyssey, "rosy-fingered dawn."

I used Feather Sock as the yarn base. Feather Sock is made of 85% extra-fine non-superwash merino wool and 15% silk. It's a 2-ply yarn with a lot of yardage. It's great for sweaters, shawls, hats, and more. Just be aware that it should be hand-washed in cold water so it doesn't felt. On the other hand, it's great for weavers and others who want to full their cloth.
