This colorway was inspired by a beautiful painting by Monet. The entire name of the painting is as follows: "Monet's Houses of Parliament, London, with the Sun Peaking through the Fog."
This was my favorite from a series of paintings he did there, and I used this painting as inspiration for my club colorways last spring. I'm bringing the colorway into the shop now.
I dyed it on my Buttery Soft DK base, which is made of 45% baby alpaca, 45% extra-soft 19.5 micron merino, and 10% silk, and it really lives up to its name!
Like most, this colorway is a little more muted on Buttery Soft DK than on many of my other yarn bases due to the alpaca and silk content.
Please note that this is NOT a superwash yarn. That means it can felt with agitation and changes in temperature, so it should be washed by hand in cool water. On the other hand, it can be fulled.
