I love the way this colorway turned out! I originally made it as hand-painted yarn, but then I decided to make a cowl that combined the fingering-weight yarn with bulky yarn that I spun from art batts just like these. I named it Anachronism because of the juxtaposition between the warm antique colors and the modern sparkle.
These art batts are made from all soft, luxury materials including merino wool, baby alpaca, and even camel down, which is about as soft as anything could ever be. I added a bit of gold angelina to make it sparkle.
