This yarn was inspired by one of Monet's Water Lilies paintings. He painted many of them, so I've included a photo of the painting I had in mind.
There are about 12 different colors in these, but the main ones include several shades of blue and green along with chartreuse and a bit of violet.
I dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein contains the same colors but in different places, making each one unique. I used my Sparkly Merino Sock base this time, which is made of 92% superwash merino and 8% sparkly lurex. It's a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.
The last photo shows Monet's painting, and the second-to-last shows a little stockinette sample I knit using this yarn; however, that sample was knit from a previous batch with a little more green and a little less blue than the current batch.

Monet's Water LIlies would look great with November in My Soul, Nebula, or Starry Night.
MY GIFT TO YOU
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
