This colorway was inspired by one of my favorite paintings by Monet: "The Portal of Rouen Cathedral in Morning Light." Here's a link to the painting. He spent two years painting the same cathedral at different times of day, and some have called it the ultimate series in Impressionism.
The colors include dark gray, dark blue, medium blue, soft lavender, eggplant, and a bit of chartreuse with a generous amount of speckles.
The yarn is priced per skein.
Monet's Cathedral on Sparkly Merino Sock
409 yards / 4 ounces / 4 plies
92% superwash merino / 8% lurex
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry.
This yarn would go beautifully with Burgundy Rose, Annunciation Blue, Lilac, or Eggplant.
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
