I live in the desert in northern Arizona, and right after monsoon season everything blooms the most beautiful colors--all the richer for the relative color deprivation that exists before monsoon.
These highly textured batts are what the desert looks like after monsoon season. The colors are pink, peach, magenta, lilac purple, teal green, light green, and gold. I added red and gold firestar for shimmer and some of the softest deep purple mohair locks I have ever had the pleasure of using.
These luxury art batts will provide you with a multi-sensorial experience of color and texture when you spin them up. I combined fibers of great softness with a great deal of fun texture. I made them in multiple layers of thin stripes to avoid any long stretches with just one color. The yarn made from these batts will be both elegant and whimsical.
The price is per batt, and each batt contains 2 ounces (56 grams).
This would look great in a project like a shawl or open-work poncho, or this would be super in textural weaving as the weft.

MY GIFT TO YOU
Also, as a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
Happy fiber artistry!
