I dyed this rich blue color on my So Silky Sock Base made of 50% superwash merino and 50% silk. This is so lusciously soft!
The color was inspired by the blue in Fra Angelico's painting "The Annunciation." This colorway has variations in shade, which add a lot of depth to your project, and the silk makes this yarn look quite shiny.
I dyed it on Quick and Cozy Bulky which is a 3-ply yarn made of 100% superwash merino. It has great stitch definition and wonderful squishiness. It's perfect for when you want something that works up quickly without sacrificing softness.
Annunciation Blue on Quick and Cozy Bulky
106 yards / 3.5 ounces / 3 plies
100% superwash merino wool

Annunciation Blue would look lovely with Epiphany and A Little Princess to name a couple.
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
