BEOWULF Indie-Dyed Yarn on Suri Lace Cloud

Regular price $27.00

Quantity Available: 2
Beowulf was inspired by the epic poem by the same name. It's the oldest known work of literature written in English. It's a dark, dramatic colorway that matches the heroic tale and the fight between good and evil.

I dyed it on Suri Lace Cloud, which has all the delightful texture of fuzzy mohair yarn with none of the itch. It's made of baby suri alpaca and silk, and it has a wonderful halo. It can be used on its own or held double with another yarn.

The yarn comes in 50 gram skeins with 437 yards per skein.

Beowulf would look great held double with the same colorway on one of my sock-weight yarn bases. The last photo shows it with Sock Perfection.

It would also look great with The Winedark Sea, Burgundy Rose, and Eggplant.
