MONET'S CATHEDRAL Hand-Dyed Yarn on Squoosh DK

Regular price $28.00

Quantity Available: 3
This colorway was inspired by one of my favorite paintings by Monet: "The Portal of Rouen Cathedral in Morning Light." Here's a link to the painting. He spent 2 years painting the same cathedral at different times of day, and some have called it the ultimate series in impressionism.

The colors include dark blue, medium blue, lilac, eggplant, chartreuse, and a bit of white with generous amount of speckles.

I dyed this yarn on Squoosh DK, which is made of extra-soft superwash merino and comes on extra-big skeins.

YARN SWATCH
I included a couple photos of a hat I knit up in this colorway using Quick and Cozy Bulky. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
