EGGPLANT Hand-Dyed Yarn on Stained Glass Sock

Regular price $28.00

Quantity Available: 4

Eggplant is a rich, deep purple semi-solid yarn. I use this color a lot in many of my variegated colorways, so it goes well with many of them.

I dyed this colorway on Stained Glass Sock, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. The thing that makes Stained Glass Sock uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass. Each 100 gram skein has 400 yards.
