COLE'S VOYAGE OF CHILDHOOD Art Batts to Spin and Felt
COLE'S VOYAGE OF CHILDHOOD Art Batts to Spin and Felt
16 in stock
This art batt was inspired by Thomas Cole's painting, Voyage of Childhood. That painting was the first of a series entitled Voyage of Life.
Cole is considered the founder of the Hudson River School, and what makes his work really unique is the fact that he combined nature and spiritual elements. In this painting, there is a guardian angel guarding the children as they travel by boat through an earthly paradise, reminiscent of their innocence I believe.
The art batts include so many lovely, soft fibers including merino, baby camel down, baby alpaca, tussah silk, muga silk, and bamboo too.
